Cycling every mile When on a bike expedition, I like to ride every mile, door to door, except when water gets in the way and I have to take a ferry. (I do not think that my bicycle floats, though to be fair I haven't actually tried it.) Opinions on this point are divided. Some people agree with me. Other people think it is silly. That is a matter enitrely for them. All I will say is that I feel if you can go by bike you should, and if you can't, you should try. And whatever happens, you should, at all costs, not fly. Feel free to disagree. Millions already have.
