I've looked everywhere, and nowhere have I found a really good solution. Most dynamos are 6V, but most battery chargers want 12V (standard car "cigarette lighter" plug voltage).

I'm not clever enough with electronics to be able to design my own battery charger, and I don't suppose most people are. It really surprises me that there doesn't seem to be anything ready-made and commercially available that allows you to recharge AA batteries using a dynamo generator as you pedal.

I'll keep looking though....
