I have a "blog" at http://aidehua.blogspot.com/.

I have used this "blog" to collate snippets of information from a wide variety of websites.

Information on the blog is fairly chaotic. It is not ordered other than by date of insertion, but it contains links to all the original sources and in most cases a synopsis of or an extract from the original material.

Information ranges from equipment reviews and suppliers to visa information to other people's travel experiences. Many of the entries originate from Lonely Planet's "ThornTree" bulletin board.

I use the Blogger / blog format simply out of convenience - Google's IE toolbar has a "blog this" button which lets you blog info from any web-page in one click.

You can use Google to search the blog - however, Google's index lags somewhat behind, so you may need to do a bit of searching around once you land on the blog. I think the best way to search it is to go to aidehua.blogspot.com and use Ctrl-F. (Remember to scroll to the top of the page first though, IE's built-in page searcher annoyingly only goes in one direction.)
