Back here again after a 2-week trip round the "Sayan Ring", a loop route from Abakan to Kyzyl and back via Ak-Dovurak through Tuva and Khakasia. Hard riding but beautiful mountains, amazing views, friendly people (despite what you hear about Tuva from all the local Russians) and definitely a worthwhile break from the at times quite boring eastwards slog on the main trans-siberian highway. And there are no mosquitos in the moutains - wild strawberries instead!
