Sessions for Schools
Inspire your students
Are you looking for a lively, educational session for your students?
Something that is original and inspiring - but still has clear relevance to your curriculum? (See sample topics on right.)
Something that could really engage your students?
Please contact me to discuss what would fit best with your current scheme of work or curriculum. My email is edward.genochio@gmail.com.
I have descibed a "typical" session below - but all my sessions are "bespoke", to match the particular needs of your school or class.

Example session
We start with a slideshow introducing my journey by bicycle to China and back.Your students will experience a whistle-stop tour through 25 countries and some of the most interesting environments on the planet, from the scorching sands of the Taklamakan Desert to the wondrous, frozen expanse of the Tibetan plateau.
There are amazing photographs of people and places from around the world. (Preview here.)
Through my slideshow, your students will meet a cast of colourful characters, including the KGB colonel who gave me his trousers, the Mongolian horseman who stole my bicycle, and the pink-gloved Norwegian cyclist who told the world that I had died.
After the slide show (20 to 60 minutes), depending on the age and curriculum needs of the group, we can move to some group activities, related to my bicycle expedition slideshow. These may include the topics listed on the right.
